In case you needed any more proof that Jordan Spieth is a legend in his own right, Jake Owen provided it.

Rory McIlroy Should Worry About Jordan Spieth Instead Of Tiger Woods

The country music star -- who played alongside Spieth at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Wednesday -- held storytime with the media. Rather than divulge some wild tour nights of his own, Owen opted for one involving Spieth.

Well, Spieth, 98 yards and a simple bet.

Jordan Spieth Attacked A Fan With His Drive

"We're in the middle of the fairway [in Vero Beach, Florida], he's 98 yards out, there's about a 100 people behind us in the fairway ... there was about 1,000 people behind the green watching, because you know the world's No. 1 is in the small town of Vero," Owen said, per USA Today. "And he looks at me in front of my dad and says, 'All right, what are the odds? I'm going to make this.'

"I'm like, 'You're like 98 yards out in the middle of the fairway,' and he just steps up and hits the shot. In the air, he's like, 'Pay up.' And I'm sitting there watching it, this is no, no lie, I'm sitting there watching it, it hits three feet behind the pin, with all these people watching, spins back and goes in the hole.

"And he looks at me and I'm like, this doesn't happen with normal people. It doesn't happen, so they're making a plaque. They're putting it there."

In all honesty, what else would you expect from a man who wears his own green jacket and parades the U.S. Open cup trophy around his house?
