There's no need to be wary about online dating -- even NHL players do it.

Rangers center Derick Brassard is the latest high-profile athlete to turn to apps to find love as he is on the dating app Raya, which is a popular place to mingle among celebrities, according to Page Six.

The publication reports that two different sources have flirted back and forth with the Canadian native on the app.

Brassard, 28, has done plenty of scoring on the ice, netting a team-high 40 points and tying with Mats Zuccarello for the club lead with 18 goals. The former No. 6 overall draft pick of the Blue Jackets is now looking to do some scoring of a different kind away from the rink.

The 6-foot-1, 205 pound center was linked to figure skater and sports broadcast journalist Terra Findlay back in 2014, according to PlayerWives.com, but it seems he's single now and on the prowl.

Brassard is quite the catch for online daters as he's currently on a five-year $25 million deal and has found a nice home with the Rangers. The center plays in a top-six role and has 58 goals in 301 games during his NHL career.

As Valentine's Day draws closer, it looks like Brassard will be headed online to land his date.
