When Cam Newton and the Panthers lost the Super Bowl, the dabbing stopped.

Not only was the reigning NFL MVP not in the mood to dance or celebrate following Super Bowl 50, he also didn't want to dissect the biggest loss of his career.

Cam Newton's Behavior Should Be Surprise To No One

The Panthers fell to the Broncos, 24-10, Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., and after the loss, Newton wasn't at all interested in addressing the media.

Following the defeat, the Carolina quarterback shutout reporters as they attempted to get his take on the loss. Newton offered non-answers and then stormed out on the session.

Aqib Talib Deserves Lenghty Suspension For Super Bowl Behavior

Never one to let a golden opportunity slip through the cracks, late night talk show host Conan O'Brien took a clever route in mocking the situation.

After discussing the awkward media session with his sidekick Andy Richter, O'Brien dropped a joke likening Newton to Fig Newton cookies, which didn't get over. The talk show host then had to suffer through his own press conference in defense of dropping the awful crack.

Hilarity definitely ensued. Check it out for yourself below.

Newton was also on the defensive for not diving on a fumble during the game and he explained that he feared he was going to injure himself if he jumped on the loose football.

"I don't dive on one fumble because the way my leg was -- it could have been [contorted] in a way," Newton told the media. "Okay, you say my effort -- I didn't dive down, I fumbled -- that's fine. But at the end of the day, we didn't lose that game because of that fumble."
