Von Miller is doing all he can to save Johnny Manziel's career.

The Broncos linebacker and Super Bowl 50 MVP, at the height of celebrating his career following the Broncos' 24-10 victory over the Panthers, reached out to the embattled Browns quarterback during his postgame news conference.

The second pick of the 2011 NFL Draft and former Texas A&M Aggie turned his own career around after a more-than-inauspicious start, according to USA Today Sports' For the Win.

Miller was suspended in college and suspended again during his second year in the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy. He missed the Broncos' appearace in Super Bowl XLVII because of a torn ACL he suffered in Dec. 2013.

"I've definitely had my struggles and it was because of my teammates, my family, Mr. (John) Elway ... (it's) all these guys that never really quit on me and kept believing in me that got me to this moment where I am today," Miller said, according to For the Win. "I say that to say, if you're having a hard time right now, just keep pushing. The media wasn't always my friend, but today they're my friend now."

It turned out that Miller had an intended recipient for his message -- his former Aggies teammate whom the Browns are expected to release next month.

"The message is for Johnny," Miller said. "I want to see you do good. My heart goes out to you, buddy. Come on, let's get it right, Gig Em. The sky is the limit. When you get back, the sky is the limit."

Other than denying claims by his ex-girlfriend that he hit her -- and ruptured her eardrum -- on Jan. 30, Manziel has been silent in media and social media until now.

The Broncos defensive star posted on Instagram a photo of Manziel in his money pose at Texas A&M, with the message, "Love you fam! Grind, get back to Johnny all the ags know and love, Grind bro, 2yrs ago they counted me out, 2yrs frm now you can do the same!! Support no matter what! #love @jmanziel2.

Manziel returned the favor by posting a photo of Miller with the Super Bowl trophy, calling his former teammate, "Champ."

It's doubtful any team will take a chance on Manziel without him re-entering some kind of rehab treatment facility. But if Von Miller supports his former teammate, it reveals to NFL owners that Manziel might be salvageable after all.
