If Chip Kelly traded LeSean McCoy because of concerns about his character, McCoy may have validated Kelly’s concern. A reported brawl with off-duty Philadelphia police officers in a restaurant that left several of the cops hospitalized with serious injuries is believed to have involved McCoy.
Fox 29 Philly reporter Dave Schratwieser sent out several tweets about injured off-duty cops that did not mention McCoy by name, but meshes with an ABC 6 report that does report McCoy is being investigated.

McCoy Lied About Not 'Disliking' Chip Kelly
ABC 6 reported that McCoy and his friend are suspects in the fight, but were not arrested. It also only mentions one friend, while Fox 29 Philly’s report mentions four NFL players, creating some confusion as to whether the two news organizations are referring to the same incident.
McCoy battled injuries in 2015 and was a bit of a disappointment for the Bills, rushing for 895 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. He scored five touchdowns in total, and was held to fewer than 1,000 yards rushing for the first time since 2012. When he was traded, McCoy accused Kelly indirectly of being a racist.
“I feel like I always respected him as a coach. I think that's the way he runs his team. He wants the full control. You see how fast he got rid of all the good players. Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That's the truth. There's a reason. ... It's hard to explain with him. But there's a reason he got rid of all the black players -- the good ones -- like that,” McCoy told ESPN.
