Kobe Bryant may not be the only NBA player retiring by season’s end, with a bunch nearing 40 years old.

Bryant will be 38 in August but his reason for retirement is more of the wear and tear his body the last three seasons. He would have been good for about a year or two more but the reality is that the game is taking its toll on the Lakers star.

Aside from Kobe, there are other older players out there slugging it out with the younger players. But try as they might, it is obvious that they no longer have the hops they had when they entered the league, so a lot of these 38- and 39-year-old guys (via Cheatsheet.com) could call it quits at season's end.
