Blake Griffin has tarnished his reputation, potentially lost endorsements, and hurt the Clippers in a bid to reach the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs by punching his friend, a Clippers employee, and breaking his shooting hand.

That’s all bad, but even worse, he may have ruined the chances of all NBA players at landing Sports Illustrated Swimsuit bombshell Samantha Hoopes.

Clippers Getting Better Without Blake Griffin

The model, who once named Blake Griffin her athlete of choice if she had to date one, had a cold answer when asked if Griffin ever reached out to her.

“Umm, Blake who?” Hoopes asked. “Yeah, I don’t know who you’re talking about.”

She eventually admitted that, yes, she knows who he is, but his original qualifications for a fling were a little flimsy from the start.

“I only said him because he had freckles on his face, but listen, like, Blake Griffin? No. I’m not down with the b-ball players. I don’t like athletes, I like businessmen.”

Look what you did Blake! This is what athletes, and specifically basketball players it seems, have lost.

Between that, and having billionaire Steve Ballmer angry with him, these days it’s not great to be Blake. "There needs to be consequences," Ballmer, the Clippers owner, told The Los Angeles Times. "It's the right thing to do."
