Move over Jack Nicholson and Spike Lee, there’s a new celebrity super fan. Ahead of Super Bowl 50, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, a North Carolina native, banged an enormous drum before the Panthers stormed the field.

Man. Can't thank the @Panthers enough! #keeppounding pic.twitter.com/V99jAKNloj

Curry is currently the reigning NBA MVP, but he’s not a bandwagon jumper. Curry’s dad Dell Curry spent 10 years draining 3-pointers for the Charlotte Hornets, and this wasn’t even Steph’s first experience banging the drum.
Throughout the year Curry has been lending his support to his gridiron brothers.
Big time answer TD right there by the @Panthers! We are here to play baby. I’m gonna lose my mind by the end of this! pic.twitter.com/XnfmUjXqKP

Curry was also in a pretty good mood today after dropping 26 points and 10 assists vs. the Thunder on primetime television Saturday. In that game he beat another NBA MVP, Kevin Durant, who is also in the house for Super Bowl 50.

With Durant in the house, there are four MVPs in total -- Curry, Durant, Cam Newton and Peyton Manning -- in the house.
