F1 racing legend Michael Schumacher’s condition continues to be under wraps since hus fatal skiing accident back in Dec. 2013.

With Schumacher’s family wanting to keep the condition private, former Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo may have gotten the latest on the seven-time champion and unfortunately it is "not good," as he termed it.

"I have news and unfortunately it is not good," said Montezemolo via La Gazzetta dello Sport, an Italian newspaper.

Schumacher smashed his head on rocks when he was on a low-speed ski-run at the French resort Meribel in 2013. He underwent immediate emergency surgery to save his life and spent months in the hospital. He was eventually transferred to his Lake Geneva mansion, where 15 specialists were monitoring him around the clock.

In October of last year, a French doctor bared that the driver was making progress, though it will take years for him to fully recover.

“He is getting better but everything is relative. It's very difficult. He can't speak. Like me, he is in a wheelchair paralysed. He has memory problems and speech problems,” said friend and former racing driver Philippe Streiff via the Daily Mail.

But with the latest word on Schumacher’s condition, that conservative outlook may have been just suffered a big blow.
