Dana White is doing it again to Holly Holm.

Holm is the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion, but the UFC president is doing everything he can to give his close friend Ronda Rousey an edge when the two meet in the octagon for their highly anticipated rematch.

Not Reviewing Her Fight With Holly Holm Could Be Deadly To Ronda Rousey's Career

White announced that the winner of the Holm-Miesha Tate fight on March 5 at UFC 196 will fight Rousey in November, he said on "The Neighborhood" radio show via to Fox Sports.

If Holm wins, and that is far from a certainty against the veteran Tate, then she would have to wait ... wait for it ... eight months to fight Rousey.

Holly Holm Doubts Whether Ronda Rousey Wants Rematch

Sound familiar?

When Holm shocked Rousey last November at UFC 193, White said shortly thereafter that a rematch would take place in July, over Holm's objections that she would prefer not to remain idle for eight months before fighting again.

White, however, is doing everything he can to accommodate Rousey, whose busy schedule includes three movies.

Who is the reigning champion, again?

Of course, Holm should be used to White's complete disregard for her wishes. The first Rousey-Holm fight was pushed up from January to November so that Rousey could have more time off to focus on her acting career. The move may have turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Holm as it appeared that Rousey was the one who was not ready for the first fight.

Daughter of the great Muhammad Ali and former boxer Laila Ali says it doesn't matter when the rematch will take place; she figures Holm will win and may even make it look easier than the first fight.

"I personally do not think that she'll beat Holly Holm [in a rematch]," Ali said in an interview with Chael Sonnen on WSOF.com. "I think that if she fought her again, then the same thing and worse will happen. Holly Holm was just getting warmed up."

While Rousey has yet to confirm her agreement to fight in November, White said she is eager to return to the UFC.

"She's very intense. She's a bad-ass," White said about Rousey. "She'll be back."

Assuming a win at UFC 196, Holm will be there, waiting. For a long time.
