Dez Bryant's support for Cowboys teammate Greg Hardy isn't as laughable as the nearly 32,000 likes in support of his Instagram post.

The Cowboys wide receiver posted a photo of him and Hardy on his Instagram account, Uproxx reported. Bryant, like Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did when Hardy completed his four-game suspension to start the 2015 season, shows unwavering support for the embattled defensive end.

Dez Bryant Thinks 4-12 Cowboys Are Close To Reaching Super Bowl

There are ways to show support for a troubled teammate. Completely ignoring what he has done by blaming others is not the way to do it. But Bryant isn't wrong, according to the 32k (and counting) likes on the post.

Hardy was found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend and communicating threats in July 2014, according to The Associated Press. His case later was dismissed after the accuser could not be found. The district attorney in the case told the trial judge Hardy had reached a "civil suit" agreement with his accuser just as his trial was about to start, according to another AP article.

Interest In Greg Hardy Will Show How Hypocritical NFL Teams Are Over Ray Rice Ban

The New York Post put the headline, "Greg Hardy Case Dismissed After 'Paid-Off' Accuser Disappears."

Other than a single tweet, Hardy has expressed zero remorse over the incident. When Hardy returned from his four-game suspension (the NFL originally imposed a 10-game suspension that was later reduced), he talked about having his "guns blazin'" when the Cowboys were to face the Patriots.

That was a poor choice of words, considering the fact that part of the domestic violence case against Hardy included the description of him throwing his then-girlfriend down on a couch covered with guns.

Jones said Hardy was just using the term to express himself and then hoped he would have his "guns a-blazin'," according to Pro Football Talk.

Jones then supported Hardy's equally troubling comments about Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady's wife, in the context of his domestic violence charge. Jones said that, yes, Bundchen is "very attractive and it shows what an outstanding individual he is."

Bryant, then could be forgiven for throwing his support behind Hardy, even though reports have suggested that the Cowboys will not re-sign the defensive end in 2016.

Earlier this week, Bryant also said that Dallas made strides in reaching the Super Bowl in 2015, despite its 4-12 record.
