No self-respecting human being cares about the NFL Pro Bowl. For whatever reason, people still care about Tim Tebow.

Might as well have the former be saved by the latter.

Tim Tebow Found Something Better To Do With His Life

No, this isn't some desperate attempt to beg for a Tebow return. You can search for that kind of commentary on Twitter every Sunday if you want. This is, however, a proposal to fix the worst exhibition in all of sports.

The current crop of NFL players don't want to participate in the Pro Bowl, so why not invite some former names to the party? At least then it would be watchable and we don't have to pretend that Tyrod Taylor is a Pro Bowl QB. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 3,231 yards and just 14 TDs and even he was invited as a replacement.

Brian Hoyer Should Never Start A Game Over Tebow Again

Are you really in a rush to watch either suit up in Hawaii?

This premise doesn't even have to be Tebow-centric.

Ryan Leaf was released from prison. Somewhere, JaMarcus Russell is out there still telling himself he could've been Cam Newton before Cam Newton was Cam Newton. Invite them all.

It can't be any worse than the garbage product the NFL attempts to sell you every year. Then they wonder why ratings dropped from 6.7 in 2014 to 5.6 in 2015, per Yahoo Sports. They were a solid 7.7 in 2013.

Not to sasy that the NFL has to go full MTV Rock N' Jock, but they have surely have to do something. Subjecting a national audience to unwatchable garbage is Fox News' job, not theirs.
