Jumping back on the Ronda Rousey bandwagon has begun, and that could be bad news for the former UFC women's bantamweight champion as far as the Octagon goes.

The Rousey promotion machine seems to be cranking up again, and that could lead Ronda to overlooking the beating she took at UFC 193. Which, in turn, could lead to a repeat of UFC 193 when she steps back into the cage for a title shot.

Holly Holm Is Wondering Whether Ronda Rousey Really Wants A Rematch

First, Rousey was lauded for congratulating Holly Holm on "Saturday Night Live," although she barely got the sentiment across before barking "Enough!" -- making the comment seem forced.

Now, her trainer/coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, is hinting that they will not review the first Rousey-Holm fight as she prepares for an eventual rematch, according to ESPNW.

Ronda Rousey's Nutritionist Fears For Her Safety In A Rematch Against Holly Holm

"I know how to speak to Ronda. I know Ronda very well," Tarverdyan said. "She doesn't need to watch that fight. The fight is over. It's about what we're doing now. It's my job to watch the footage and I'm dedicating everything I have to Ronda's rematch with Holly."

But it doesn't sound as if Rousey is dedicating everything she has to the rematch. First of all, "Rowdy" should want to see the fight for motivation. Second, if she doesn't want to watch, Tarverdyan should insist she watch the fight to understand what went wrong.

It doesn't make sense for both Rousey and Tarverdyan to chalk up the defeat to an early punch from Holm knocking Rousey senseless, especially since the former champion made it to the second round before Holm's kick to her head knocked her out.

Tarverdyan goes on to make some curious comments about accepting blame for Rousey's loss.

"When you're up there, somebody needs to be blamed for it," Tarverdyan said. "I'm taking the blame. I'm OK with that. I know what reality is. I accept reality. Reality is people will talk all kinds of unnecessary stuff. As long as my fighter believes in me, I believe in my fighter and we'll move on from there."

So what is reality, then? Is Tarverdyan saying he'll take the blame, but there's another reason Rousey lost, as in it was her own fault?

Both Rousey and Tarverdyan seem to be taking the same approach to the rematch as they did the first fight -- that it's Ronda's fight to win or lose, and the opponent is inconsequential.

Rousey still seems intent on crossing over to acting as a career. She was obligated to make two movies before her fight with Holm, but she signed on for another movie and her SNL appearance after her loss, when it would seem logical that she'd want to focus on avenging her loss.

Rousey's camp still is in denial, which could be career-threatening. At least in regard to her UFC career.
