When Paul George sustained a gruesome leg injury last season, he found comfort in a former porn star.
Lisa Ann left the adult film industry to become a fantasy sports analyst, and she believes her role in the realm goes further than just being a fan.

The retired porn star sees herself as a mentor to NBA players and even counseled the Pacers forward after he suffered a compound fracture to two bones in his legs while playing a scrimmage for Team U.S.A. in the 2014 offseason.
As a result of the debilitating injury, the three-time NBA All-Star missed the majority of the NBA season last year, but, according to Ann, she was able to help him cope with the ailment.
What Might Have Led To Blake Griffin's Fight
"It's a trust thing. It's a kinship," Ann told The Guardian about mentoring athletes, mentioning George by name. "It's a reminder to them: 'I know when you're out in New York City it's a playground for you, but when you go out on the road, you need to catch up on sleep. You looked slackish in that game last night.' I've been doing this since the early 1990s. I tell some of these athletes: I've been doing this since before you were born."
The publication says Ann "fancies herself a confidante and mentor" for athletes and that even though she doesn't have kids and has no plans to have any in the future, she sees athletes as her children.
Ann was even there in person when George finally made his return to the court last April, holding up a sign to support him.

George has had an interesting history off the court with women, and a porn star serving as his mentor isn't the only part of it. The Pacers forward was engaged in a nasty custody battle with a former stripper, Daniela Rajic, over their daughter, Olivia.
The former couple eventually reached a settlement to jointly raise their daughter, according to Page Six.
While his personal life has had its ups and downs, if George ever runs into trouble professionally, it seems Ann will have his back.
