Danny Garcia An Option For Amir Khan In 2016
Preview
Garcia’s last three fights have all been contested at weights higher than junior welterweight (140 pounds), but his Aug. 2015 TKO of Paulie Malignaggi was Garcia’s first fight as a full-fledged welterweight.
Guerrero has campaigned at 147 pounds since 2012, fighting six times at this weight including a bout vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Guerrero is 4-2 in those six fights, dropping bouts against Mayweather and undefeated knockout artist Keith “One-Time” Thurman. Guerrero is seeking to cast aside doubters, however, who believe he is shopworn after a very shaky win in his last matchup vs. little-known Aaron Martinez.
