Daniel Bryan sought the opinion of yet another doctor and reportedly got clearance to compete.

This time, the former WWE champion was checked on by an outside doctor from UCLA. He underwent the usual tests needed and in the end was given the green light, per reports from the Wrestling Observer.

Brock Lesnar Should Face Bray Wyatt, Not Braun Strowman

While that should be good news on behalf of the bearded one, he still cannot rejoice and spring back to action. Bryan will still need official clearance from a WWE doctor before he can return to action.

Wrestlingnews.co mentions that Bryan was in Pittsburgh recently for an appearance, but hinted it could also be an opportunity for WWE doctor Joseph Maroon to look at him. Unfortunately for Bryan, that never took place.

Nikki Bella Could Be Leaving John Cena On The Sidelines Soon

It remains to be seen how the WWE will take this latest bit. Seeing how the company is reeling from injuries to its key stars, a return by Bryan could be a big shot in the arm. Bryan has been kept on the freezer with good reason. The WWE is looking out for the welfare of the “YES” man and are avoiding possible concussion lawsuits and potential liabilities they could face.

With the recent clearing, it will be equally interesting if Bryan follows his heart and take his act elsewhere.

Last year, there were rumors that Bryan was contemplating on leaving the WWE (via DailyDDT.com). That was if no WWE doctor would clear him should he get clearance from a third outside doctor.

And now that time has come. But it should be noted that WWE chairman Vince McMahon was also awaiting what a third doctor would say.

So with the cat out of the bag, will McMahon pull the trigger and insert Bryan into the WWE scene or play with fire, which could see Bryan leave the WWE?
