Lakers star Kobe Bryant spoke to Rick Fox and Jared Greenberg on SiriusXM NBA Radio Wednesday and talked about his plans for retirement. Bryant, known for his ferocious competitive spirit, isn’t the type to just turn down the intensity. His ideas for how he’ll spend his time are far from relaxing.

Bryant said he’s interested in "skiing a little bit. I've never been skiing before. Maybe a do a little surfing maybe. Maybe a little skydiving." Sounds fun and active. Here are some things he should definitely avoid doing though.

Shooting Coach

For someone who scored as often as Kobe has in his career, he’s not a particularly great shooter. He has shot 44.9 percent for his career, which is respectable, but just 33 percent from the 3-point line. As his ability to sink 3-pointers has decreased, he’s begun taking more of them. It’s just nuts. Bryant can do a lot of things, but I wouldn’t want him coaching young players about shooting, and definitely wouldn’t want him infecting their ideas on shot selection.

Life Coach

Put down the pitchforks! Kobe Bryant is obviously a wildly successful human being, but until now he hasn’t been beloved. He was accused of rape in 2003 by a 19-year-old in Colorado while he was there rehabbing a knee injury. He wound up apologizing to the woman, and settling with her in a civil suit. At the very best, Bryant cheated on his wife, so that’s not great.

Kobe Says He's Done With Team USA

Kobe also admitted to really not having any friends. “I have like minds,” Bryant said.

“Do we have time to build great relationships? Do we have time to build great friendships? No. Do we have time to socialize and to hangout aimlessly? No. Do we want to do that? No.We want to work. I enjoy working.

“Being a great friend is something I will never be. I can be a good friend. But not a great friend. A great friend will call you every day and remember your birthday. I'll get so wrapped up in my s**t, I'll never remember that stuff.”

Not a people person.

Motivational Speaker

Kobe has one gear, and it’s full speed. Master motivators know how to read people and alter their approach to get them to respond. Kobe…just yells. Ask poor Jeremy Lin how he feels about Bryant’s approach to encouragement. Stuff like surfing and skydiving is perfect for Bryant, because they’re challenging, and he can do it alone.
