The road to WrestleMania kicks off this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, and Paige is already thinking about the "Show of Shows."
The two-time Divas Champion doesn't have a role at Sunday's event, but she's hoping she'll play a bigger part at WrestleMania 32 on April 3. The WWE usually tries to showcase all of its talent in some capacity at its biggest event of the year.
Booking Decisions That Will Ensure A Great Royal Rumble
Paige admitted she'd be upset if she isn't booked for WrestleMania, and if that does happen, it would be a major misstep for the WWE to ignore one of its best Divas.
"Yeah, obviously we don't know what's going on right now, but hopefully all of us get to be involved in some sense," Paige told IGN about Divas being involved. "Because WrestleMania is such a big deal for our company and for the world, really. It's one of the biggest shows of the year. I hope we get to be a part of it. I'd be sad if we didn't."
Early Rumble Match Betting Odds Are Whacky
Here are three potential opponents Paige could face at WrestleMania 32:
1) Becky Lynch
Since the split of PCB, Paige has been involved in a rivalry with Charlotte, but she hasn't really had a chance to mix it up with the other factor of that trio in Lynch. The "Lass Kicker" has proven to be a great babyface in the Divas division and with Paige emerging as a top heel, a clash at the "Show of Shows" is logical for these two.
If Lynch defeats Charlotte on Sunday at the Royal Rumble to win the belt, it sets up a terrific potential Divas Championship match with Paige at WrestleMania.
2) Sasha Banks
"The Boss" has so much untapped potential on the WWE's main roster, but thus far the company hasn't carried over any of the momentum she created in NXT. Banks has a great look, is awesome on the mic and in the ring and has a tremendous character, but the WWE has yet to push her.
Given that there are a lot of heels in the division right now and the WWE Universe is all-in on Banks, turning her face and having her feud with a heel like Paige at the biggest show of the year could do wonders for both ladies.
3) AJ Lee
This one would be a long-shot, but if the WWE can pry Lee out of retirement -- even if it's only for one more match -- these two have potential to steal the show. There is history between them as Lee was the one to dethrone Paige during both of her runs with the Divas Championship.
The Divas became allies toward the end of Lee's career, but Paige could easily come out and challenge CM Punk's wife by saying she needs to beat her one last time to cement her legacy. Lee can then do the job, helping Paige continue to grow as a strong heel.
