Kris Humphries To Auction Off Kim Kardashian Engagement Ring [VIDEO]

NBA veteran Kris Humphries is selling off the massive, diamond engagement ring he gave to 72-day long wife Kim Kardashian.

According to Parade Magazine, Humphries has commissioned Christie's Auction House to sell the "16- karat, rectangular-cut, Lorraine Schwartz diamond," to the highest bidder at a New York City-held auction on Tuesday. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

According to Christie's lot description, "the diamond flanked on either side, trapeze-cut,mounted in platinum" ring is valued at between $300,000 to $500,000. Humphries originally paid $2 million for the sparkler Kardashian wore for less than three months. The infamous couple split after just 72 days and despite uttering their vows in a lavish, nationally televised $10 million ceremony in August of 2011.

Kardashian, 32, has since moved on, recently giving birth to a daughter with hip-hop star boyfriend Kanye West. Humphries was briefly linked to aspiring performer Myla Sinanaj before they too split amid reports she mislead him into believing she was pregnant.

"Kris has long moved on," a source close to him told Parade about his break from Kardashian.. "He is very much looking forward to a successful auction at Christie's and of course to returning to the court this upcoming NBA season as a Boston Celtics."
