Rex Ryan Upset Tom Brady Beat Saints, Twin Brother Rob Ryan: 'Always Want Patriots To Lose' [VIDEO] [.GIF]

While Rex Ryan's New York Jets suffered a letdown at home against the previously winless Pittsburgh Steelers, he was almost as upset about Tom Brady devastating his brother up in Foxborough.

Brady led an improbable fourth quarter comeback against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, creating the week's best .GIF of Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, Rex's twin brother, turning his head in anguish.

"It was a horrible day for the Ryan family," Rex said of Sunday's games. It's a good thing my dad is out of coaching. It was tough." Rex went on to admit he actively roots against Brady and the New England Patriots. "Heck, yeah, you want to see them lose, no question. You want every team in your division to lose, in particular New England."

The Jets coach also blasted media members who criticized Rob Ryan's defensive game plan down the stretch. "Now they're going to make that call? Yeah, right. I'd put my chances with a Ryan over somebody else."

Perhaps Rex is just stirring the pot in preparation for the Jets' Week 7 clash with the Pats. At 3-3, Gang Green has an opportunity at home to rattle New England's cage, as well as keep them from running away with the AFC East. Rex stopped short of calling the game a must-win, though, straying from his normal bravado.

"'Must-win' might be a little much right now, even for my deal," Rex said. "I'm notorious for throwing those bad boys out."

Whether or not it's a must-win, the intensity level will be high after a close game early in the season resulted in a 13-10 Patriots victory, with tempers flaring near the end. The Jets haven't forgotten their close call. "We should've won that game," running back Chris Ivory said, while rookie defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson said "We left one hanging."
