Ciara is still taking heat for her outfit Monday night when she sang the National Anthem before Alabama beat Clemson in the NCAA National Championship Game. Ciara was criticized for wearing an outfit that was too revealing, the loudest commentary being from ex-ESPN personality Bonnie Bernstein.

Now, a new contender has emerged to defend the righteousness of the American flag, and anthems, and good, pure college athletics. His name is Jason Whitlock, a highly controversial African-American sportswriter who went on Colin Cowherd’s radio show to call Ciara “thirsty.”

“She looked thirsty man,” Whitlock told Cowherd, before bringing up Ciara’s vow of celibacy with her boyfriend, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, as a reason for dressing provocatively. “She is waiting, because some guy wants to wait. When you get on TV, and put your breasts on display like that, in front of 30 million people…”

Cowherd’s co-host Kristine Leahy leapt to Ciara’s defense, claiming that the dress was tame compared to other dresses that are similar, and that it wasn’t his place to tell her what to wear. “That’s so unfair to say that any woman who shows her cleavage is thirsty.”

Whitlock wouldn’t quit on Twitter either, expounding on his thoughts and informing the world that he “loves nudity.”

He’s got to lighten up. Some Twitter users pointed him in the direction of a chill pill.
