Apparently, Olivia Munn loves Aaron Rodgers way more than she loves her mom.

The actress was busy doing damage control -- again -- on social media when a report circulated that she and the Packers quarterback are engaged.

"A source told OK! that the Green Bay Packers quarterback popped the big question and asked for Olivia's hand in marriage!" OK Magazine reported. "... The athlete, 32, asked for her family's approval first, then proposed over a romantic dinner."

In denying the story on her Instagram account, Munn included a text message conversation with her "Asian mom" to clarify her status.

Olivia Munn Accuses Media Of Validating Internet Trolls

In the conversation, Munn tapped the curious comment, "Oh my gosh Mom no. You know you shouldn't believe gossip on the internet. If I was engaged, I promise you'd be like the 8th person to know. Maybe 9th. But definitely way before the internet(.)"

It appears as if Munn has a humor-based relationship with her mother, but there could be an issue with assuming she was joking. In an earlier report on Munn revealing her mother saying how much of a big deal Rodgers is on Vietnamese blogs, she stated that her mother talks and texts in broken English.

"My mom speaks in an accent and writes in one too," Munn said, according to eonline.com.

"My mom, that's how she texts, she's like, 'You tell Aaron Rodgers I think he number one quarterback! And you let him know Asians love Aaron Rodgers! You know people on Vietnamese blog talk about Aaron Rodgers, that's big deal!'" Munn said. "As if that was a big worry to him. ...

"For her, when you've made it to the Vietnamese blogs, you've made it," she added. "She's like, 'He needs to know, big deal, Vietnamese blog!' She thinks it's the best thing ever."

It's conceivable that Munn's mother did not get that her daughter was joking about being the eighth or ninth person Munn would contact if she were to get engaged.

Perhaps, Munn next should clarify the order in another Instagram post.
