The Hornets are in the market for a 3-point shooter, particularly Nets guard Bojan Bogdanovic. They just shouldn't trade Jeremy Lin to land him.

Jeremy Lin Should Start Praying For Wins

Brooklyn has all but waved the white flag in 2016. At 10-25, GM Billy King is considering breaking up the team. Charlotte has called to try and deal for Bogan Bogdanovic according to Sporting News, per CBS Sports.

Naturally, one name has been brought up in social media circles -- one the Nets have had interest in, per Nets Daily.

A trade involving Bogdanovic for Lin, however, would only create problems for the Hornets, not solve them.

Charlotte is fourth in 3-point rate this season (28.5 per game), but 17th in 3-point percentage (34.7). Bogdanovic -- who's shooting 33 percent from 3-point range this season -- would do little to fix that. The Hornets would also lose a Sixth Man of the Year candidate in the process.

That's not exactly the kind of move a team that's just 1.5 games out of a playoff spot should be in the business of making.
