Timofey Mozgov showed what he can do on both ends of the court in the last NBA Finals but has seen a considerable dip this season.

Byron Scott Plans To Grow Up With Julius Randle

For a 7-foot-1 center who can perhaps do more than come off the bench, it is not surprising to hear, via Yahoo Sports, that there are multiple teams interested in a potential trade for the Russian cager. The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching (Feb. 18) and teams looking to beef up their middle have started to inquire on the availability of Mozgov.

With reduced minutes, Mozgov has turned from a reliable player to a mediocre bench player. Though he is not as vocal as some players, deep inside Mozgov may want to play for a team that can give him more minutes.

The thing is that Mozgov may not want to move now. The Cavs are working hard to win their first NBA title and Mozgov wants that as well. Any plans of moving out could be held off at least until the 2015-16 NBA season ends.

Mozgov is set to become an unrestricted free agent by season’s end and the Cavs seem to be bent on keeping him. But if he continues to ride the bench and see less action, the Russian center could end up looking for another team to play for by next season.
