Kanye West hasn’t been involved in a serious beef since he drunkenly embarrassed Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs. No matter how hard the media tries, he’s not looking break that streak in 2016.
The rapper addressed reports that he went after LeBron James in his latest single “Facts,” which can be heard in full on his Soundcloud page.
The Reason LeBron James Is Still Better Than Steph Curry
The media tried to make it seem like I was downplaying LeBron on my song FACTS which I would never do, Lebron is fam bottom line.

The lyric in question accuses Nike -- the same company James signed a lifetime deal with in 2015 -- of slave labor.
“Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves. Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away.”

Naturally, James felt the need to defend the company that will feed his children’s children.
"Obviously I'm going to side with Nike no matter who it is," he said, per Cleveland.com. "It's just, it's family when you talk about Nike, and I'm always on their side no matter what the situation is."
