When your husband recently suffered a near-fatal overdose, it might be a bad time to have a reality show with cocktails in the title.

From all appearances, Khloe Kardashian has been tremendous to Lamar Odom as he recovers from his near-death experience, but her reality show's premiere is ill-timed. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is set to debut a new show, "Kocktails with Khloe," on the FYI network on Jan. 20.

The show will revolve around Kardashian throwing dinner parties for celebrities in a replica of her house, according to Page Six. This comes just months after Odom went into a four-day coma in October after binging on drugs at a Nevada brothel.

Odom has struggled with addiction for many years, and it nearly led to his demise when he was found unconscious nearly three months ago. Due to his condition, Kardashian threw out their divorce, despite the fact that she was dating Rockets guard James Harden, in order to support him financially as he recovers.

The show may come off as insensitive to Odom given all that he's gone through. Celebrities boozing and dining with his wife as he slowly recovers may not come off well for Kardashian's image, so the network might want to consider delaying the show's premiere.

As far as Odom's recovery goes, he still can't walk on his own, but he is expected to be discharged from a Los Angeles hospital and transferred to a live-in rehab facility "in the next few days," sources told People.

Kardashian has played a big role in his recovery, but she may want to re-think her new show's debut.

"He's doing amazing," Kardashian told Page Six of Odom, "and I'm so proud of the strength that he has had to fight that battle."

Should Khloe Kardashian delay the start of 'Kocktails with Khloe' out of respect for Lamar Odom?
