Dolph Ziggler could finally be getting the push he deserves.

Brie Bella's 'Brie Mode' Nights May Have Helped Daniel Bryan

"The Showoff" reportedly turned heel at Tuesday's television tapings for SmackDown, which airs Thursday. After winning an eight-man tag team match with his babyface teammates, Ziggler super kicked R-Truth and stared Neville down on the ramp, according to WrestlingInc.

Ziggler's potential heel turn opens up many new possible doors for him. Here are three different scenarios that could propel the four-time Intercontinental Champion back into the main event scene.

WWE Soiling Royal Rumble Match With Latest Decision

1) Cena 'Nuff

The WWE started a possible angle on the "Total Divas" reality show when Ziggler hit on his ex-girlfriend, John Cena's current flame Nikki Bella. It's easy to see that the "reality" show is just as scripted as WWE storylines, so it's possible the writers did it on purpose to spark the first ever crossover by having a "Total Divas" angle play out on regular WWE shows.

Cena's hiatus may have delayed a possible feud between the two, but it seems strange that as soon as the "Cenation" leader returned, Ziggler made an interesting character change by kicking R-Truth. The WWE could have its face of the franchise battle Ziggler in a feud over Nikki Bella, finally bringing the real-life couple together on screen once Bella returns from injury.

2) Rumble Redemption

Ziggler was one of many Superstars that were mistreated at last year's Royal Rumble event in order to get Roman Reigns over. "The Showoff" came in as the coveted No. 30 entrant, lasted only two minutes, 29 seconds, and was unceremoniously eliminated by the much-maligned duo of Big Show and Kane. That could all be wiped away at this year's event.

If the former World Heavyweight Champion dons more of a badass, heel character, he could have a decent shot at winning this year's 30-man elimination bout. The stakes are even higher this time around, with the richest prize in the game hanging in the balance.

3) Strive For Five

"The Showoff" just lost to Heath Slater on RAW this week, so let's face it, he can use some serious momentum. To have Ziggler go from losing to the middling Slater only to become WWE Champion is a huge step, so maybe the organization should slowly build him up by giving him his fifth Intercontinental Championship.

The midcard scene is flourishing right now, with champion Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens feuding over the title, but Ziggler and Neville have also been involved. The WWE could throw the Superstar with the golden locks into the fray and have him emerge victorious, slowly building back up his credibility.
