The Warriors and the Nuggets engaged in a classic match that needed an extra five minutes to settle. When the smoke cleared, the defending champions still managed to escape with a 111-108 win over at the Oracle Arena, though the win may have come at a stiff price.

The match saw the brief return of Steph Curry to the lineup after he had sat out the team's previous two games due to a left shin contusion. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to play his usual minutes as he reinjured the shin, thus forcing him out of the game with about two minutes left in the second quarter.

Curry would later on reveal that he got kicked by a Nuggets player and now he has to wait how the same shin would feel by Monday.

"I know exactly what happened. It's just a matter of how it feels tomorrow and go from there. It's not as bad as the first time it happened, so that's good news," he said via ESPN.

On the other side, Kenneth Faried found himself on the raw end after colliding with teammate Will Barton.

Faried was attended to even past the final buzzer, but Yahoo Sports reports that his condition has improved a bit after he received medical attention. Faried was eventually taken to a nearby hospital which hopefully renders nothing serious.
