Kevin Owens seems to be heading nowhere in WWE storylines, but he could gain some direction by the time the 2016 Royal Rumble comes around.

Owens is likely to have a match against WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, though a lingering Triple Threat match with Dolph Ziggler could ensue if the storylines continue.

Ambrose, however just won the title, so he's unlikely to lose it anytime soon.

Now how does Brock Lesnar come into the picture?

The 30-man rumble will likely see Lesnar and Owens participating. Owens will likely be among the ones eliminated and seeing how he has been fighting and ending in frustration, that could instigate an accidental intrusion that would cost Lesnar a chance to win the rumble.

Per the Bleacher Report, there is a scenario which could see Owens taking out his frustrations on anyone and it just so happens that the guy it will hit would be Lesnar.

Now everyone knows that Lesnar is not the type to understand wrestlers with issues and Owens is certainly not someone he will back down from. Viola! The Lesnar vs. Owens feud is born.

Mismatch? Well in a way it does seem like one though Owens is likely to try and psyche out Lesnar (and likely Paul Heyman) to even the odds.

In the ring, Owens is unlikely to have great odds against Lesnar. So it will all boil down to how he can woo Lesnar in and make the Beast’s intentions equally frustrating as well. Could this lead all the way to Wresltemania 32? Well a former WWE creative writer seems to think so.

It isn’t exactly something that seems competitive if you talk about the physical aspect but if Owens overcomes the Beast, all his frustrations could somehow come to an end.
