Danica Patrick won't be a once-in-a-lifetime story, not if her father has any say in the matter.

T.J. Patrick -- who guided his daughter from go-karts to NASCAR -- has started a new kart team with the sole purpose of developing promising talent ... even if it doesn't match up to his daughter.

Don't Expect To See Danica Patrick During The Super Bowl

"I don't know [if we can mold the next Danica]," T.J. said at Daytona International Speedway, per News Journal Online. "We just want to help kids and get them up to speed by showing the tricks we showed Danica, and hopefully it pans out in the long run for them.

"These little go-karts will do 60 mph. These kids can drive really well with them. These go-karts are a lot faster than when we did this with Danica."

Lewis Hamilton Would Do More For NASCAR Than Danica Patrick

Hopefully for T.J. and his business venture, faster go-karts will translate to better drivers. You know, drivers that can actually win a race.

Four years and 118 races into her NASCAR Sprint Cup series career, Danica's amassed zero wins. Five years and 61 races into her NASCAR Xfinity series career, another zero wins.

Not exactly the selling point of a strong business plan.

Fortunately for T.J., he has the perfect approach to rectify that.

"This isn't a fun go-kart," he said. "Parents are paying a lot of money to learn racing. I have kids who are serious about learning to race and hopefully we can teach them.

"School is open. I'm looking forward to it."
