Not many wives around the NFL are as publicly supportive as Katherine Webb is to her husband, quarterback AJ McCarron, and the signal caller could use that support now more than ever.

The Bengals (11-3) fell to the Broncos (11-3), 20-17, in overtime on "Monday NIght Football" this week and the Cincinnati signal caller was injured in the process. After Brandon McManus kicked a go-ahead 37-yard field goal in overtime, McCarron and the Bengals had one last shot to score.

On the second play of the ensuing drive, the quarterback fumbled the snap and the ball was recovered by Denver linebacker DeMarcus Ware to end the game. McCarron was seen with a wrap on his left wrist after the injury and is set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, according to ESPN.

The Bengals still have plenty to play for in Week 17, so a loss of McCarron could be very damning. With Andy Dalton (fractured thumb) out, Keith Wenning would be next up under center if McCarron can't go. The Bengals (11-4), currently hold the third seed in the playoffs, but the landscape can change Sunday.

Cincinnati is still competing with Denver (11-4) for the second seed and can clinch a first-round bye via three different scenarios. The Bengals can clinch the bye with a win and a Broncos loss or tie, a tie and a Denver loss or a Broncos loss and Chiefs victory.

With a bye, Dalton may have time to recover, but the Bengals chances of achieving the first-round pass may come down to McCarron's health. It's a good thing he has a beautiful, supportive woman by his side.
