Two of the most storied programs in college football history -- though not in recent years -- will do battle on Saturday when UCLA (8-4) meets Nebraska (5-7) in the Foster Farms Bowl.
The Cornhuskers, despite being under .500 for only third time in the last 54 years, managed to qualify for a bowl game. The program came on strong of late, beating MIchigan State at home and losing by eight to Iowa.
As for UCLA, Saturday's matchup is nothing more than a disappointing punctuation on what was supposed to be a promising year.
The Bruins dropped two of their last three games of the regular season.
