The Steelers could miss the playoffs even if they reach 10 wins. All it takes is for them to lose one game, with the Chiefs or Jets winning out, and that's all she wrote. If that happens, the AFC playoffs will feature arguably the worst collection of quarterbacks in the conference's history.

Excluding Tom Brady, this is what the postseason could look like from a quarterbacking perspective if the Steelers fail to qualify: Brock Osweiler, A.J. McCarron, Brandon Weeden, Alex Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Alex Smith of the Chiefs is the only passer in that group with a playoff appearance, let alone a postseason win.

Now let's look at what Brady has done this season for the Patriots, who are 12-2. Brady's completed 64.3 percent of his passes for 4,405 yards, and thrown 35 touchdown passes against six interceptions.

Ranking The Five Best NFL Games Of The Season

There are two changes to this no-Steelers setup that are possible. Peyton Manning could take back the reins from Osweiler, and Andy Dalton may be able to get back under center for McCarron. Manning has been a disaster this season, however, throwing seven touchdowns and 16 interceptions before being replaced by Osweiler. Dalton has had a career year, but owns an 0-4 record in the playoffs with one touchdown and six picks. Hardly anything that will scare Brady.

Roethlisberger is in the midst of another fine season in 2015, at least when he plays. Injuries have been a problem, but in his nine starts (10 games) Roethlisberger has thrown 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, and averaged 336 yards. Patriots haters will certainly be rooting for Pittsburgh to win out.
