Though various reports deny it, Adrien Broner is still ready for anything. In fact he is confident that if Manny Pacquiao does end up picking him as his final opponent, he intends to send him back to the Philippines a loser.

Broner bared recently that he was contacted by Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz for a possible fight with the eight-time division champion.

"I wish Adrien would not have made the comments he did to the media prematurely. But yes I did personally call him, spoke with him and we discussed the possibility of him facing Manny," confirmed Koncz via Boxingscene.com.

Adding Broner to the final list seems to make more sense right now with two of the three names opting to go a different route.

Amir Khan has chosen to focus on a possible fight with Kell Brook in June, while Terence Crawford may not be ready by Apr. 9, the date of Pacquiao’s last fight since he will be defending his title in February.

So that left only Timothy Bradley Jr. as the lone name on the list. But even “Desert Storm” could be opting out if he had a choice, hinting that he preferred to fight Miguel Cotto rather than do a third fight with Pacquiao.

Broner’s possible inclusion makes a lot of sense for Pacquiao, particularly the revenue angle. As Boxing News 24 reported, a fight with the Floyd Mayweather Jr. disciple could mean more money for Pacquiao over the previous three choices.

But if Pacquiao does go the Broner route, he may want to prepare hard for the former four division world champion.

Broner already took a shot at the Filipino boxer, vowing to send him back a loser if they do face in April in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao has opted to announce his next and final opponent by early 2016. He plans to retire from boxing after the Apr. 9 bout before devoting his full attention to local politics. Pacquiao is gunning for a senatorial seat in the May 2016 Philippine elections.
