Roman Reigns may be at the top of the WWE right now, but one has that feeling that his rise to prominence may be lacking something.

There are some critics who believe that it could settle down when John Cena returns, though the question in the air is will they go up against each other or fight side-by-side?

If not, Cena could be probably help out indirectly. With Cena reportedly back in action at WWE Raw this coming Monday (via Fansided.com), it seems that he will try to regain the United States Championship he lost to Alberto Del Rio. This will likely turn into a new storyline, though it could go as far as linking Reigns into the equation.

Del Rio is part of Sheamus’ faction (“The League of Nations”) so there is possibility that the two would cross paths. If so, this could be that transition from Cena to Reigns.

But Bleacher Report begs to differ. Instead of Cena, it will be the injured Seth Rollins who will likely be the catalyst for that to happen.

Now seeing Rollins is out of commission for the next couple of months, this may not take place until maybe the middle of 2016. Once fit, Rollins will likely feud with Reigns, a scenario that could get the monkey off the Big Dog’s back.

The past year saw Reigns try to silence Rollins but the “Architect” simply found ways to escape. That and of course “The Authority” in tow, are two obstacles that Reigns will have to endure next year.

On how long that will take remains to be seen. But from the looks of it, Reigns conquering Rollins would be the fitting to see the Big Dog fit in as the new face of the WWE.
