Those cookies you leave out for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, don't forget to leave another batch for LeBron James. The four-time NBA MVP will play in the 10th Christmas Day game of his 13-year career on Friday.

He'll also have a chance to avenge his NBA Finals loss to the Warriors. He's just not too excited about it.

Not with his family out of town.

"I won't be with my family on Christmas, unfortunately," James said Wednesday morning after the Cavaliers' shootaround, per ESPN. "They're not even here [in Ohio] right now. They're in L.A. right now, actually.

"So, no, we have no traditions. If I can get a home game on Christmas, then we'll have a tradition."

LeBron James' Fan Interactions Unrivaled In The NBA

His frustration comes after he admitted players would "rather be home" with their families in 2010.

In his career, James is 7-2 on Christmas Day -- a record good enough to make him the hardest working man on Dec. 25, even if he isn't out there breaking into people's homes and delivering gifts.

Then again, a man who's never home for Christmas and doesn't see his family is a life that sounds eerily similar to one up north.
