The WWE has a chance to do something out of the ordinary by revealing Dean Ambrose and Renee Young's relationship outside the squared circle.
The bridge to that potential reveal lies in Kevin Owens, who has been at odds with both of them in separate issues. Ambrose defeated Owens to win the Intercontinental Championship at TLC on Dec. 13 and the former NXT Superstar has been out for storyline revenge ever since.

Owens then got into it with Young, Ambrose's real-life girlfriend, on this week's live edition of SmackDown. After Owens talked about trying to gain his Intercontinental Championship back and said he should have won the Slammy Award for Breakout Star of the Year, he told Young she looked "ridiculous."
Many of Young's fans jumped to her aid on Twitter, and Owens fired back at her supporters while also vowing to take the title back from Ambrose after injuring his head:
The amount of dweebs trying to stand up for Renee Young right now is hilarious. You guys are all suuuuuuper cool and tough. Good job!

And if you think me dropping Ambrose on his head tonight was bad...it's just the beginning! I won't stop until I get my title back. Xoxo — Kevin Owens (@FightOwensFight) December 23, 2015
Early Picks To Win Royal Rumble Match
This gives the WWE a golden opportunity to spice up the Intercontinental Championship feud by not only making it about the gold, but also having Ambrose fight to avenge his girl. "The Lunatic Fringe" is great with his loner character, but he could also lose his mind on Owens on behalf of someone else.
The WWE has been hesitant to put real-life couples together on-screen, as evidenced by the separation of Nikki Bella and John Cena as well as Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan (when healthy) in storylines. The company even had Lana and Rusev feuding with each other until their engagement was exposed.
Ambrose and Young have both acknowledged their relationship publicly, with the WWE Superstar saying "she's too good for me," and the backstage personality calling her counterpart "very nice and adorable."
A potential door has opened up for the WWE and it should be interesting to see if the storyline develops into on-screen exposure of the Ambrose, Young relationship.
