Nikki Bella has had a tremendous year, but that doesn't mean she was the brightest shining Diva in the WWE.
WWE Should Make Paige's Christmas Wish Come True
Bella set a WWE record by holding the Divas Championship for 301 days before falling to Charlotte at Night of Champions in September. While she was the face of the division when the "Diva's Revolution" started, the rest of the ladies are sure to pass her by.
Bella is currently working her way back from a neck injury, but she took to her Instagram to campaign for votes for the Diva of the Year Award at the Slammy Awards this Monday night on RAW.

Though she's had a tremendous year, these three Divas deserve the recognition over Bella.
1) Paige
The Norwich, England native has had a great 2015, highlighted by her heel turn. Paige can cut a promo like the best of them and her PTO finishing move might be the best maneuver in the Divas division right now. The two-time Divas Champion can talk a big game and back it up in the ring, and at age 23, she has a bright future ahead of her in the company.
2) Sasha Banks
"The Boss" hasn't been given much to work with on the main roster, but she deserves consideration for the award. There is no doubt that the two best Divas matches of 2015 occurred in NXT and involved Banks and Bayley. First, the two absolutely stole the show and told a great story at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. Then, they made history by competing in an Iron Man Match at NXT Takeover: Respect. Based on those two matches alone and the fact that Banks has the look, talent and persona to be the next big star, she deserves consideration for the award.
3) Charlotte
The WWE has been a little too reliant on Ric Flair to get Charlotte over and the daughter of the "Nature Boy" can often be too emotional on the microphone, but from an in-ring and success standpoint, Charlotte deserves some consideration. The reigning Divas Champion ended Bella's historic reign with the belt and has been on top of the division ever since.
