Brock Lesnar has officially returned to the WWE scene, facing Alberto Del Rio for the United States championship recently at The Forum in Los Angeles.
Lesnar hardly showed any rust, hitting his patented german suplexes on Del Rio. While the U.S. Champion did manage to hold his own with some of his dirty tactics, Lesnar wasn’t facing Del Rio solely.

As many had expected, his League of Nations teammate Rusev came running to help and it resulted in a disqualification, according to Wrestle Zone.
For sticking his nose in, Rusev received a suplex and an F-5 for his troubles. The match hardly took that long and it remains to be seen if it was a sign of things to come.

Is Lesnar now a babyface?
Well there is a chance that he could be as he seems to be setting his sights on the United States Championship. A clearer picture could be outlined in future WWE shows, starting perhaps at WWE RAW this Monday, which will be held right in his hometown of Minneapolis.
Assuming he does target Del Rio's belt, it poses a lot of questions, such as if Lesnar's next program will be with the Sheamus-led faction.
In the ring, Lesnar is obviously the more powerful wrestler and Del Rio could require the aid of Rusev and maybe even Sheamus in kayfabe terms.
Also, one has to wonder if the WWE will have Lesnar and Roman Reigns team up for a common cause. Though the two have not been known to be allies, they do have respect for each other. The two clashed in the main event of WrestleMania 31 in March.
With a common foe, we could see a short alliance between the two as they try to wreak havoc and crush the League of Nations, a stable that many feel could soon be disbanded.
