The Lakers are atrocious and it has led to fans looking for something else to entertain them at games.

Luckily, Mark Wahlberg and his lovely wife were there Thursday to save the day. The actor and his wife, Rhea Durham, were featured on the kiss cam at the Staples Center during the game, and they were more than happy to oblige, engaging in a wild make out session for the camera.

Lakers' Only Chance At Victory Is Against Hungover Opponents

The audience ate it up as it was one of the only bright spots for the Lakers on Thursday as Byron Scott's team fell, 107-87, to the Rockets. Wahlberg and Durham may have saved the crowd from boredom, but they couldn't quite will the Lakers to victory.

Perhaps the only person in the audience who didn't appreciate it was the couple's daughter, Ella Rae, who was definitely embarrassed by her parents' public display of affection. Wahlberg's other kids, Michael, 9, Brendon, 7 and Grace, 5, were likely happy they didn't come to the game.

Lamar Odom Could Go Broke & Not Realize It

The lip-locking was a nice distraction during another forgettable night for the Lakers, a team that has lost seven of its last eight games and owns a 4-22 record for the season. Kobe Bryant put up 22 points in the game, but his attempts to carry the team were futile.

The Bryant retirement tour is one of the only bright spots on this season, but the five-time NBA champion's dreams of winning another ring are bleak.

Los Angeles is 24th in the league with an average of 97.3 points per game, owns a minus-9.5 point differential and is dead last in the NBA with a 41.5 field goal percentage. The Lakers have the worst record in the Western Conference and second-worst in the NBA.

The Lakers now go on a two-game road trip against the Thunder (17-9) and Nuggets (11-14) before coming back to the Staples Center to host the Thunder on Dec. 23.

Maybe Wahlberg and his wife can return to liven up the crowd again.

How do you feel about Mark Wahlberg's PDA with his wife at the Lakers' game?
