Josh Norman, the breakout star cornerback for the Panthers, is quickly becoming recognized as elite. He’s also one of the NFL’s most prolific trash talkers as well, and it’s rubbed a few high-profile people the wrong way.
Norman limited Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins to five catches and 53 yards in Week 2, but when Hopkins was asked about Norman this week, he could only offer a lukewarm, curt compliment.
Vegas Oddsmakers Continue to Disrespect The Unbeaten Panthers
Very good cov 3 corner I give him that. https://t.co/O3JgqnaQ21

Sounds a lot like what people said about Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, who was criticized as a product of the system in Seattle, and the talent surrounding him.
According to Norman, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant “popped off” at Norman and his fellow defensive backs before their clash. Norman said the “disrespect was through the roof.” After the game, after he had shut Bryant down, Norman hit him with a low blow when he told reporters, "Hey, they need to get Dez's 70 mil back.”

Norman’s chatter is even upsetting people who don’t play anymore. Norman has been feuding recently with former Patriot and current analyst Rodney Harrison, who made the grave mistake of predicting Falcons receiver Julio Jones would “win that matchup.” That came a week after Harrison said he felt the Seahawks were a better team than the Panthers.
“I will restate: You are horrible at your job,” was Norman’s message to Harrison. The back-and-forth continued, with Norman really landing haymakers.

Norman’s quite the character, but the fact of the matter is that he’s backing it up on the field. Norman has four picks this season, along with two touchdowns and 16 pass defenses. There’s also this wild stat.
Wow. Josh Norman has held DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, TY Hilton, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones to combined 9 rec/89 yards (@nflnetwork research).
