If you were looking forward to seeing Danica Patrick push the envelope one last time during the Super Bowl, prepare to be disappointed. GoDaddy -- the Arizona web-domain registrar -- will not run an ad in Super Bowl 50, per Variety.

It will be the first time the company will be absent from America’s biggest sporting event since 2005.

Patrick’s best work, however, came in 2015. It just didn’t air. Animal rights groups started an online petition that collected more than 40,000 signatures after "The Today Show" debuted the clip, per For The Win.

Apparently, you can’t sell dogs online without bothering someone.

“I looked to find my dog online,” Patrick said in response to the controversial commercial. “Sorry. I did. I love my dog and I take great care of her.”​

For five years, GoDaddy took great care of Patrick. It was just over before we knew it.
