At 1:00 p.m. today, the Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) will try to keep their winning streak alive against the Tennessee Titans (3-1), who lost starting quarterback Jake Locker to a strained hip in the second quarter of last week's win against the New York Jets. The 2013 Chiefs bear no resemblance to the mess of last year, thanks largely to the new direction of the organization under Andy Reid. "We try not to even think about last year," said wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. "Every day we go day-by-day, and right now we're 4-0 and the target is on our back, and we have to keep pushing."

"The team is totally in, the coaches, the players," Bowe said. "It's all a family right now. We're a family organization. On all three sides of the ball we're doing good."

The Chiefs have been paced not only by their sack-happy defense, but by running back Jamaal Charles. Charles is expected to tough out today's game despite suffering from blisters on his feet.

"He wants the ball, which you appreciate," coach Andy Reid said. "I really appreciated it after I saw his feet and the blisters on them (last Sunday). The kid is a tough kid. He likes to play."

Unlike Charles, Locker will not be able to tough out his injury in Week 5, forcing Ryan Fitzpatrick into duty. "I was brought here for a reason, and the reason I was brought here was to help Jake out and be ready for a situation like this if it came up," said Fitzpatrick.
