One loss, that's all it took for Steve Kerr to question interim head coach Luke Walton. No, not really, but don't think Kerr didn't poke a little fun at the expense of his 35-year-old counterpart.

Kerr -- who took a leave of absence during training camp -- had a few choice words for Walton following the Warriors' 108-95 loss to the Bucks on Saturday.

Warriors Abandoning Loyal Fans For San Francisco Stadium

"I thought we'd go 25-0 to be honest with you," Kerr said jokingly, per San Jose Mercury News. "I sent [Walton] a text after the Milwaukee game; I said, 'What the hell are you doing? You have no idea what you're doing, do you?' Joking!"

Joking, but then again, Kerr didn't exactly have high hopes for Walton early on.

Steph Curry Still Not In The Same Stratosphere As Lionel Messi

"I figured the first part of the season would be tough," Kerr said. "And I was hoping we would just win enough games where he could get his feet wet and not have to worry about anything."

At 24-1, Walton did just that.

While you'd like to think the entire Warriors organization was behind him, they weren't. Kerr was just as surprised with Walton's success as the rest of the NBA was.

No tongue-in-cheek joke can gloss over that.
