Despite his robust list of off-field conquests in his personal life, Derek Jeter's reputation was squeaky clean during his playing days. In his first year of retirement, not so much.
The former Yankee captain and shortstop is entrenched in a $30 million legal war with the people behind the Frigo underwear line, and their latest claim against him is hair-raising. In court documents filed in Delaware, the underwear people claimed Jeter didn't want them to market the line of undies toward gay people.

"[Jeter] demanded that [Frigo] not market to the gay community and states that he did not want the Frigo brand to be 'too gay,'" the court documents allege, according to TMZ.
This isn't the first issue that Jeter has had with the underwear company when it comes to his alleged intolerance. The five-time World Series champion reportedly got very angry when the company wanted to choose 50 Cent as the brand ambassador for his underwear line, because he feared it would make the brand "too urban."

Jeter also didn't want to make the line too "sporty" in case it interfered with his deal with Nike, according to TMZ. The Yankees all-time hit leader was primed to serve as the director of Frigo and make major public appearances on behalf of the brand, but the relationship has soured and devolved into a lawsuit between both sides.
The 14-time All-Star has denied the allegations, calling them "categorically false" to TMZ. He also said he was disgusted by the accusations, which have thrown dirt on his usually clean image.
Jeter retired from baseball at the end of the 2014 season and also recently called it quits on the bachelor life when he got engaged to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis in October.
Now, he's also engaged in a huge battle with Frigo, a company that is apparently looking to smear his great name.
