Eugenie Bouchard is running around in bathing suits and hanging out with The Rock. That might not mean that she's recovered from her U.S. Open concussion incident.

The 21-year Canadian tennis player who has not completed a match since slipping on a floor in a physiotherapy room at the U.S. Open in September, hitting her head and suffering a concussion, posted a tweet that may be construed as a red flag in her recovery, Yahoo Sports Canada reported.

There is nothing further, other than her hashtags, #recovery #process, to indicate that the setback she indicated on Twitter is concussion-related. If it is, it could be a serious setback for Bouchard, three months removed from her injury.

Bouchard has not competed since the China Open in October, when she was forced to retire in the second set because of dizziness she believes is related to the concussion she suffered at the U.S. Open.

Bouchard was having a miserable 2015 season before the year's final Grand Slam event. After reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, the former No. 5 player in the world lost 13 of her next 18 matches, including 10-of-11 over one stretch.

Seeded 25th coming to New York, Bouchard had a training session and pep talk with former men's No. 1 Jimmy Connors and proceeded to win her first three matches at the Open. But after a mixed doubles match, Bouchard suffered the concussion, forcing her to withdraw prior to her fourth-round match against eventual Wimbledon finalist (and Serena Williams conqueror) Roberta Vinci.

Imagine how history may have changed had Eugenie played and beaten Vinci, for her own season or for Serena.

Bouchard filed a lawsuit against the USTA and the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, potentially for millions of dollars, over the money lost as a result of her concussion.

She has dropped to No. 49 in the world rankings entering 2016.

Meanwhile, Bouchard still seems to be living the life of a celebrity 21-year-old. She posted photos of the two costumes she wore on Halloween, a photo of her with The Rock on the set of his HBO show, "Ballers," and photos of her vacation in a pair of bathing suits.
