Eugenie Bouchard Update: Canadian Star Warned About Stalker At Restuarant [VIDEO]

Despite her disappointing 2015, Eugenie Bouchard's fans still have her back. Maybe to a fault.

The Canadian tennis star, who still is recovering from the lingering effects of a concussion she suffered during the U.S. Open, received a warning from a restaurant waitress of a possible stalker, according to tennisworldusa.org.

"Recently while dining at Chipotle, Bouchard initially posted a picture of herself eating her burrito bowl," tennisworldusa.org reported. "An hour later, Bouchard posted another update on Instagram, this time with a note on a tissue paper.

"The note was given to her by the waitress and said, 'The guy with hat is taking picture of you. Don't say.'"

U.S. Open Concussion May Keep Eugenie Bouchard Out Of Australian Open

Bouchard posted a photo of the note on her Instagram account, and was more than appreciative to the waitress.

The 49th-ranked player of the world, however, also is used to fans taking photos of her when she's out in public. It's called living the life of a celebrity. But Bouchard made sure her message was not insulting toward her informer about the stalker.

Unfortunately for Bouchard, her life off-the-court has earned more buzz than her 2015 performance, in which she has dropped 42 spots from her 2014 ranking of No. 7 in the world.

Bouchard currently is engaged in a lawsuit against the USTA and the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, stemming from a concussion she suffered after competing in a U.S. Open mixed doubles match when she slipped and fell in a dark physiotherapy room that she contends had a cleaning solution covering the floor. She slipped, fell backward and his the back of her head, the blow forcing out of the singles event before her fourth-round match against eventual Serena Williams conqueror and U.S. Open finalist Roberta Vinci.

Bouchard tried to return at the China Open in November but had to drop out because of the dizziness.
