Tyson Fury, the new heavyweight champion of the world, is in a much brighter spotlight these days following a shocking upset of Wladimir Klitschko last Saturday, ending an 11 1/2 –year undefeated run for the champ. The new attention has brought to light some of Fury’s more unsavory qualities – namely a pretty ugly streak of sexism.

In a video from late November, Fury made some of his most egregious comments yet directed toward women boxers. It started off fine, but then Fury veered into territory that would not please South Park Elementary’s PC Principal.

Imitating Mike Tyson Is A Strange Path For Devout Christian Tyson Fury To Follow

"It's up to everybody what they want to do. I'm all for it; I'm not a sexist. I believe if a man can to go work all his life a woman can. Who am I to say 'don't do that 'cause you're a girl?' But I believe a woman's best place is in the kitchen and on her back. That's my personal belief. Making me a good cup of tea -- that's what I believe,” Fury said.

Women everywhere have to be rolling their eyes at those comments, and they’re far from the first, or the worst things Fury, a self-proclaimed devout Christian, has said. Ahead of the Klitschko fight Fury made shocking remarks about his own sister.

Deontay Wilder Wants Unification Bout vs. Fury In The UK

“A woman’s there to be loved, cook food and have some kids. Like Muslims have their ways, we have ours. There are girls who open their legs to every Tom, Dick and Harry. They are looked upon as rubbish. If I had a sister who did that I’d hang her.”

Right..so what woman would ever want to be with a guy like this? Paris Fury, apparently. After beating Klitschko, Fury bizarrely broke into song, singing “Don’t Want To Miss a Thing,” by Aerosmith in the ring. He was singing to his wife, who must see something in the champ that everyone else is missing.

And she’s a knockout!

Love is a crazy, crazy thing. Don’t expect him to make any apologies either.
