Jason Pierre-Paul is yet to make the ridiculous impact some expected him to make after returning from an offseason injury that mangled his right hand. In six games this season, the 26-year-old boasts just four tackles and zero sacks to his name.

All that -- at least according to Pierre-Paul himself -- is about to change.

Brandon Marshall, Todd Bowles Not On Same Page For Giants Game

“Today [Wednesday], I put my right hand down and it made a big difference,’’ he said, per the New York Post. “It’s coming along. I’m excited to see what I’m going to do Sunday, and I’m pretty sure my teammates are excited too.”

As every man is aware, the hand you use makes a huge difference.

When Pierre-Paul arrived in New York in 2010 -- much like in 2015 -- it was his left hand that allowed him to explode off the line and into the backfield. Defensive line coach Robert Nunn made the switch that allowed Pierre-Paul to amass 42 sacks and eight forced fumbles in his career.

That trend, however, was difficult to continue with his hand looking like an oven mitt.

That no longer appears to be the case.

“I was giving everybody problems out there,” he continued. “I’m proud of my practice today.’’

All that’s left to be seen now is if Pierre-Paul can give the Jets -- who’ve only allowed 14 sacks this season -- problems. At 5-6 and tied with Washington for first in the NFC East, the Giants are in dire need for him to.
