The post-breakup match between Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki isn't over yet.

Days after reports that McIlroy soon could propose to new girlfriend Erica Stoll, Wozniacki struck back with a report of being linked to NBA basketball player David Lee, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

"Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki was a surprise guest Tuesday night at Villa Casa Casaurina -- formerly known as The Versace Mansion," in Miami, Page Six reported. "And the house was buzzing when she arrived with Boston Celtics forward and former Knicks star David Lee, who remained in town after (the Celtics beat) the Heat.

A source told Page Six that the couple had just met the night before, having been introduced by a mutual friend at a Miami restaurant.

The personal lives of both Wozniacki and McIlroy have been social media fodder ever since they were dating; McIlroy proposed on New Year's Eve in 2013 and then broke up with her four months later over the phone.

Wozniacki doesn't seem to mind her dating life to be played out in public. Unlike McIlroy, who apparently had intentionally kept his romance with Stoll away from media attention because of the very public spotlight on the relationship between him and Wozniacki, Caroline has been linked to other athletes.

She first earned attention for being seen with Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan and then created a lot of media attention for her reported fling last spring with Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.

The two were first spotted together at the NCAA men's basketball championship game, in which Watt's alma mater, Wisconsin, fell to Duke. Wozniacki and Watt were then in Paris together as she participated in the French Open, but reports of their breakup began to circulate the next month.

Wozniacki told the Post shortly after their breakup that she didn't want to talk about dating Watt.
